Who we are
Lovingly Baked by Anthea is a unique and charming bakery, pâtisserie, and confectionery just outside the village of Grayshott on the Surrey-Hampshire border.
Having grown phenomenally over the past year, mostly due to word-of-mouth, we are known for our excellence, friendliness, and generosity. Our recipe is simple: A passionate craftsman, quality ingredients and products, and a warm atmosphere!
At Lovingly Baked by Anthea, everything is prepared by hand on site, from the doughs and pastries, to the finish. No frozen or pre-prepared products are used in the composition of our recipes, and we only select top quality ingredients.
THE SHOP & AL FRESCO EATING AREA
The Bakery and Kitchen
Open Tuesdays to Thursdays, we a small selection of vegetarian savoury pastries, cakes, tarts, biscuits and confectionery. We also sell our own handmade jams and preserves, artisan chocolate slabs, biscuits, and our award-winning gingerbread men. Being South African, we naturally have the best rusks for miles for sale too, in three different varieties!
We have a small al-fresco eating area just alongside the bakery (covered in winter!) where you may enjoy any of the cakes or savouries you have chosen from the counter. In the winter we also offer delicious homemade soups of the day, as well as sandwiches and other hot savoury items as specials (the menu will change weekly).
