All of our bread recipes contain a combination of cultivated sourdough starter (organic levain) and yeast, and absolutely no preservatives. The dough is always slow-proved overnight, before being baked at extremely high temperatures, which helps the loaves develop their signature dark, thick crust and deep flavour. We only use French flour, which is much softer than the British and Canadian wheats most commonly used in the UK, as it contains less protein and less gluten. This is bread with personality!
Our French Baguettes are our most popular bread item, and with good reason. Winner of a gold star in the 2021 Great Taste Awards, our baguettes will give you a little bit of Paris, right here in Surrey!

Our perennially popular cinnamon rolls were recently awarded a gold star in the 2021 Great Taste Awards. Made with French T55 flour, eggs, milk, levain, and butter, the dough is left overnight to develop its delicious flavour before being rolled and filled with oodles of French butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom.
Taking inspiration from European countries we’ve visited, our pâtisserie products range from creamy vanilla custard tarts to our flagship cinnamon rolls. Our tarts are filled with ganaches, crème mousselines, mousses, fruit compotes, frangipanes… You’ll definitely find something you love! We use only fruits that are in season, so the pâtisserie menu is updated every couple of months. Absolutely all components are handmade.
Chic, stylish, and devoid of too many frills, we pride ourselves on creating sophisticated cakes simply but beautifully. Their soft, delicious textures and sublime flavours will make them impossible to resist. Our Black Forest Gateau is a truly grown-up treat, whilst our Opera Gateau and Fraisier Cake (in season) will lend a little French flair and elegance to your occasion. Our cakes are decorated with ganaches and Swiss meringue buttercreams. We do not use sugarpaste (‘fondant’), and we definitely do not make our buttercreams with margarine and icing sugar.
We also offer a small selection of desserts: Baked cheesecake, creamy Lemon Tart, Hazelnut Merinue Gateau, and Tiramisu being our specialities.
Regretfully, we do not make themed cakes or children’s novelty cakes.
We offer a small selection of delicious savoury tarts, either in individual sizes or in a larger size for when you have guests. The spinach and Feta phyllo tart and the roasted vegetable rustic tart are particular favourites, but do have a browse to find your flavour! Our shortcrust pastry and our puff pastry are made by hand using fine Brittany butter, and the vegetables are always fresh and seasonal.
Our most popular gift product is a selection of European-style biscuits, either as a mixed selection in a beautiful presentation box to give as a gift, or as individual packs that you can try until you find your favourite!
All biscuits are expertly prepared by hand using traditional recipes that have been endlessly researched and tried and tested. Using organic Italian 00 flour, French Brittany butter, Piemonte hazelnuts, sweet almonds, fragrant citrus fruits, and a dash or two of Amaretto liqueur, our biscuit selections really are a treat!
We can also suggest our sumptuous dark chocolate brownie gift box, as well as madeleines, crumbly all-butter shortbread, or our delightful chewy Florentines with dark chocolate.
All of our confectionery is handmade in small batches, and is perfect for little gifts or just a treat! Our South African Fudge is just as crumbly and sugary as it should be, and our chocolate-coated honeycomb is a particular favourite. If nuts are your preference, then do try our Salted Nut Brittle, packed with pecan nuts, cashews, peanuts, almonds, and hazelnuts.
Afternoon tea always feels decadent, and should be a ceremony in itself. A mixture of savoury and sweet items, our afternoon tea pastries are all expertly created by hand. Light and crispy mini quiches and elegant finger sandwiches, fluffy scones, miniature éclairs filled with crème mousseline… Every mouthful is a delight, and one to be savoured with the perfect cup of tea.
The menu changes with the seasons, so there won’t be strawberries and raspberries in the winter months. Using seasonal produce ensures the best quality with the most flavour and, together with premium Belgian chocolate, buttery pastry, and pillowy Swiss meringue, you can be sure that you won’t know where to start.
My afternoon tea is presented in beautiful gift boxes tied with ribbon, for that extra-special finishing touch. All you need to do is get out your best china, lay a cloth on the table, and put the kettle on!
